1. Franklin County, Virginia
   Franklin Co, VA, Homepage. This is a part of the USGenWeb project, which is an effort to organize genealogical materials on the Internet. Their goal is to provide a web site specializing in the genealogy in Virginia with an emphasis on genealogy at the county level. Our ancestor, Lewis Edwards was born on March 10, 1812 in Franklin County, VA.
2. Henry County, VA VAGenWeb Genealogy
   Our Thomas Edwards, Sr. was granted 175 acres on the south side of Irwin River in Lunenburg County, VA on 12, July 1750. That property is now in Henry County, VA. This website provides important information about the area our ancestors lived in in the 1700s.
3. Lunenburg County, Virginia
   An extremely valuable resource site where our earliest Edwards' roots can be traced. Thomas Edwards, Sr. is our earliest known Edwards ancestor. He was born about 1697 in ?Wales and died in 1751 in Lunenburg County, VA (now Henry County). He married Martha (maiden name unknown) about 1723 in Virginia. She was born about 1700 and died after 1751 in Virginia.
